Home Page Image

I just switched out the image on the home page of the site to a recent photo from the Pacific NW trip. I found this location after a really crummy day prior to this one. I was excited at the possibilties with the rolling hills in the foreground and Mt Hood in the background. However, as I returned here for sunset, Mt. Hood had clouded over. I remained until past dusk just in case it cleared, but it never happened. I'm still pleased with this image, but having Mt. Hood in the background would have really made for a beautiful capture.

Pacific NW Trip

I just got back from my trip to Washington and Oregon last weekend. It was a fantastic trip filled with highs and lows and many spectacular places. I hope to be posting some images from the trip soon. I took just under 1000 pictures and am sorting through them now. I hope to have a couple dozen "keepers". I also hope to find the time to post a trip report/blog of the day to day activity. Check back here soon for updates!
